3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS
3.1 Design. Door holders shall be in accordance with ANSI/BHMA A156.16.
3.1.1 Type I. Shall be lever type with a securely held replaceable rubber tip which will no fold under or dislodge from lateral pressure. The holder shall be designed for attachment by surface screws and the lever shall be hinged to so that it swings up and remains in the vertical position when not in service.
