COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
HINGE, TEE
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
1. SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Scope. This commercial item description covers commercial and industrial quality surface mounted tee hinges with non-removable hinge pins.
1.2 Classification. The tee hinges shall be of the following types, grades, and sizes.
Type I, Grade 2, Light Tee Hinges
Size 1 - 3 inch (76 mm)
Size 2 - 4 inch (102 mm)
Size 3 - 6 inch (152 mm)
Type II, Grade 1, Heavy Tee Hinges
Size 4 - 4 inch (102 mm)
Size 5 - 6 inch (152 mm)
Size 6 - 8 inch (203 mm)
