NOTES:

1. Material: Brass sheet or strip in accordance with ASTM B36/B36M, UNS No. C26000 or

C26800 Temper H01.

Brass casting in accordance with ASTM B271, UNS No. C85400

Steel strip in accordance with QQ-S-698, cold rolled, temper no. 4 or 5.

2. Protective coating: Brass - Black chemical finish in accordance with MIL-F-495.

Steel - Zinc coated in accordance with ASTM B633, Type IV, Fe/Zn 13 followed by enamel in accordance with Master Painters Institute, Reference #94, Exterior Alkyd, Semi-Gloss, MPI Gloss Level 5.

3. Dimensions: All dimensions are in inches.

4. For design proposes, this standard takes precedence over procurement documents referenced herein.

5. Changes from previous issue. Marginal notations are not used in this revision to identify changes with respect to the previous issue due to the extent of the changes.
